Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 2 large cucumbers thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
Dressing
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1-2 tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds toasted
  • 2 green onions sliced

Method
 

  1. Slice cucumbers thinly and sprinkle with salt. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Drain and gently squeeze excess water from cucumbers.
  3. Mix garlic, gochugaru, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  4. Add cucumbers and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Top with sesame seeds and green onions.
  6. Serve immediately or chill briefly for enhanced flavor.
