Ingredients
  

Apple Filling
  • 6 apples peeled and sliced
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.5 cup caramel sauce
Cobbler Topping
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine apples, sugars, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and vanilla in a large bowl.
  3. Fold in pecans and half of the caramel sauce.
  4. Spread mixture into prepared baking dish.
  5. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  6. Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla. Stir until combined.
  7. Spoon batter over apple filling.
  8. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce over the top.
  9. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  10. Cool slightly and serve warm.
