Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 8 oz dark chocolate chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs large
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
Pistachio Layer
  • 1 cup pistachio cream
  • 0.5 cup kataifi pastry toasted
  • 1 tbsp butter for toasting
Topping
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 0.5 cup dark chocolate melted
  • 0.25 cup roasted pistachios chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate until smooth.
  3. Whisk sugars, eggs and vanilla, then mix in melted chocolate.
  4. Fold in flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder.
  5. Bake 30–35 minutes and cool completely.
  6. Toast kataifi with butter until crisp and combine with pistachio cream.
  7. Spread pistachio mixture over cooled brownies.
  8. Top with strawberries, drizzle with melted chocolate and garnish with pistachios.
  9. Chill 30 minutes before slicing.

Notes
