Ingredients
  

Beef Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 0.5 tsp allspice
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 0.25 cup water
Garlic Sauce
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
Assembly
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato diced
  • 0.25 cup chopped parsley
  • 0.25 cup sliced pickles

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onion until softened.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in spices, salt, tomato paste, and water.
  5. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  6. Mix garlic sauce ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
  7. Warm taco shells according to package directions.
  8. Fill shells with beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, parsley, pickles, and garlic sauce.
