- Boil cabbage and remove softened leaves.
- Trim thick ribs from leaves.
- Mix pork, beef, rice, onion, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, egg, and parsley.
- Place filling on cabbage leaves and roll tightly.
- Cook onion in olive oil until softened.
- Add paprika, tomato sauce, broth, tomato paste, and sugar.
- Arrange cabbage rolls in pot and cover with sauce.
- Simmer covered for 90 minutes.
- Serve hot with sauce and parsley garnish.
