Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together.
- Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add honey, egg and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly.
- Gradually add dry ingredients alternating with milk.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 12–14 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve.
