Ingredients
  

  • 12 hard taco shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 0.5 cup tomato sauce or salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange taco shells upright on a baking sheet.
  2. Cook onion and garlic in a skillet until softened. Add ground beef and brown fully.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Fill taco shells with meat mixture and top with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and shells are crisp.
