Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables carrots, bell peppers, snow peas
Sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth

Equipment

  • Wok or large skillet
  • Pot for boiling noodles
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs

Method
 

  1. Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Whisk together all sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp until pink and remove from pan.
  4. Sauté garlic and ginger briefly, then add vegetables and stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  5. Add noodles and sauce to the pan, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Return shrimp to the pan, toss to combine, and cook until heated through.
