Ingredients
  

Green Beans
  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 tsp salt for boiling
Mustard Butter Sauce
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1.5 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and cook 5–6 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain and transfer to ice water.
  2. In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Whisk in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and black pepper to form a smooth sauce.
  4. Add green beans to the pan and toss to coat completely.
  5. Serve warm with extra sauce drizzled on top.
